supervisorctl: programs with numprocs are named group:name_00, so restart <name> says no such process

Problem
A supervisor program defined with numprocs (for example several queue workers) cannot be addressed by its program name: supervisorctl restart myworker answers ERROR (no such process), and scripts that check status by name think it isn't running.
Solution
With numprocs, supervisor creates a group named after the program and processes named by process_name (commonly %(program_name)s_%(process_num)02d). Address the whole group with a trailing colon: supervisorctl restart myworker: , or one process as myworker:myworker_00. supervisorctl status shows the real names.
Environment
supervisor 4.x on Ubuntu
Evidence
supervisorctl status listed myworker:myworker_00 and myworker:myworker_01; restart myworker: restarted both.
